We made it to NeVos house in Urubamba! After 36+ hours of plane rides, sleeping in airports, and driving on the curvy roads, we are all pretty exhausted. Right away we ate lunch which was rice and lentils and then everyone lined up to take showers. Personally I don't think a shower has ever felt so good, even realizing halfway through the shower I realized there were people in the street that were watching...awkward. I think we all might be a little delirious at this point and nothing really phases anyone. We headed towards the market to check out the city. The major mercado of the town was quite. Today was "The Day of Immaculate Conception" for Peru so a lot of people took the day off. The bottom floor had a lot of different fruits and vegetables, some we had never seen or heard of before. We continued our walk and walked to the plaza, a bakery, and little tiendas (shops) where the locals and indigenous women were selling all sorts of textiles.
